On Friday the 4th of May, I took part in the Three Peaks Challenge that was 17 km long. The point of the walk was to raise money for St Catherine's School in Newcastle. We needed €9000, so each person had to raise around €100 from sponsorships
The walk started on the bottom of the Big Sugarloaf. We walked up and over the shoulder and down the front into Kilmacanogue, where we stopped in the garage and got some food. After that we headed up the Little Sugarloaf and we had lunch at the top. After lunch, we walked down the mountain into Kilruddery House and Gardens. Then we headed up Bray Head, where we stopped for a bit and then we went down to Bray Seafront, Where we got ice-cream
Overall, it was a good day; the weather was very good and I had fun. The money we raised will go to a good cause as it will pay for a new playground in St. Catherine's School.
